What is the EntreCantos International Choral Festival?
EntreCantos was founded in 2004 in San Felipe, Venezuela, with the goal of promoting Latin American choral music. Over eight editions, it brought together choirs from different regions, establishing itself as a space for learning, exchange and artistic growth.
Since 2021, EntreCantos has been based in Tunja, Colombia, where it has grown into a reference point within the Latin American choral movement. With a strong artistic and educational vision, the festival continues to support training, development and international visibility for choirs.
Who is this festival for?
The festival is open to children’s, youth, adult and chamber choirs, as well as university, community and institutional ensembles that wish to take part in an international choral gathering.
EntreCantos welcomes projects with diverse backgrounds and aesthetics, valuing artistic commitment and the richness of different approaches within the choral field.
A choral experience with human meaning
Taking part in EntreCantos means living an experience that goes beyond the stage. Throughout the festival, choirs participate in shared concerts, educational activities, dialogue spaces and cultural encounters that strengthen community bonds and artistic exchange.
Each activity is designed to create meaningful connections among participants, encourage collective learning and offer a valuable experience for both choirs and audiences.
